CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Our college provide the environment, which fosters not only the intellectual, but also the personality development to its students. Personality development workshops are organized by our college for the pre-final year students with a view to equip them with the necessary soft skills required to face the interviews and come out successful in today's competitive atmosphere. Leading organizations in the area of HR training are engaged for the purpose.
The students are exposed to exercise in communication skills, motivation skills and leadership skills. They gain essential inputs in goal setting and team working. They also undergo group discussions and personal interview sessions.

The workshop is conducted during week days and each student is exposed to a total period of six days spread over in three semesters.

More than 600 students of pre-final and final year of U.G & P.G are benefited from these workshops. the entire cost of the workshop which amounts to nearly 10 lakh every year in borne entirely by the management.This way we make our students to feel proud about their Alma mater. Our college considers placement and training as its prime duty to every students who gets an admission into the college. The placement and training cell has been set up to

Provide opportunity for pre-final and final year students to attend campus interviews by leading companies.
Provide in-plant training to the students during their summer and winter vacations.
Prepare students to face the interviews, aptitude test, and group discussion.

Generally the campus selection starts in the month of July and it may extend up to March.

SPECIAL FEATURES OF PLACEMENT CELL

The Career Development program which is unique of its kind in Tamil Nadu guides our students in selecting their career and provides complete training to them right from the preparation of their curriculum vitae, how to face the interview and its techniques. Aptitude test, Group Discussion, test of reasoning and Mock Interviews are also conducted.
